beighton extreme sports park

Beighton Extreme Sports Park is a joint partnership proposal between Horsman Woolley and a major UK leisure developer and operator in response to Sheffield City Council's aspiration to turn Beighton Tip into a regional leisure facility.

The Extreme Sports Park will be a centre of excellence for the City of Sheffield set in a 60 acre site to the south of the city with excellent public transport links, and easy access to the M1 and M18 motorways.

The new Leisure Park will provide 'state of the art' facilities for Surf sports with the first Australian Surf Rider in the UK; Climbing sports including a 60 ft high ice climbing wall; Mountain Biking, Snowsports including half-pipes, big-air jumps and freestyle slopes; and also a purpose built arena for the new generation City/Street sports.
